How I Build My Resume (Simple, Readable, and ATS-Friendly)

Here’s how I make my resume. I keep the format fairly simple—easy to read, clean, and straight to the point. The main thing I focus on is the wording: making sure the tasks I actually completed in past roles clearly match what’s being asked for in job applications.

The key, in my opinion, is using industry-specific terms intentionally. That means not just sprinkling in buzzwords, but using them in context, with a clear understanding of the type of candidate hiring managers are looking for.

It’s also important to list the specific tools you used to accomplish the work. This helps your resume get through the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and increases your chances of getting noticed by firms that receive thousands of applications.
